SUSTAINABILITY

a student-led initiative to greening healthcare

for medical students, both in graduate and undergraduate programs

focusing on eco-friendly alternatives and solutions in healthcare institutions

free and easy-to-use educational content and resources

what you can learn with us

Climate change is a growing health threat and ironically, healthcare institutions are a big part of the problem. With Inspire Sustainability – the McGill chapter of the Project Green Healthcare student-led initiative established by the Canadian Federation of Medical Students’ (CFMS) Health and Environment Adaptive Response Taskforce (HEART) – we aim to provide a centralized knowledge translation website for pre-clerkship and clerkship medical students to access resources and learn more about concrete actions to greening healthcare.

This platform is composed of: easy-to-use resources, educational modules on sustainable alternatives, a database of climate action champions in clinical and research fields, advocacy tools regarding planetary health, and much more! We also aim to promote and advocate for sustainable healthcare through our social media pages.
